Qinhuangdao attracts tourists from abroad

Qinhuangdao, a coastal city in North China's Hebei province, has become a hot spot for tourists from abroad, attracting them with the city's Great Wall sections and beautiful coastal scenery.
According to local statistics, more than 47,000 overseas tourists from 80 countries and regions, such as Malaysia, Thailand, and Russia, have arrived in the city this year to enjoy a leisurely trip there.
The 144-hour visa-free transit policy has provided great convenience for overseas tourists traveling to Qinhuangdao, local authorities said. Foreign nationals from over 50 countries are eligible for the 144-hour visa-free policy for short-term activities such as travel and business visits.
