Foodies, beer lovers, and shopaholics will be pleased to know that Liangjiang New Area in Chongqing recently welcomed the opening of the Ygode Experience Center of German Factory.
The Ygode Experience Center of German Factory opened its doors in China on March 11 and offered curious consumers the chance to sample authentic aspects of German culture including beer, German goods, and traditional Bavarian music.

The 10,000-square-meter center is spread across eight differently themed pavilions and offers thousands of products from a wide range of German factories. The pavilions include infant and children’s products, beer, household necessities, coffee, healthcare products, a supermarket, and a section dedicated to German automotive financial services.

Fu Linghua, general manager of the Ygode Experience Center of German Factory is excited about the shopping center's prospects.
“Different from cross-border shopping malls that introduce cross-border e-commerce retailers, our experience center offers direct contact with German factories.”
The center integrates retail, storage, and exhibition spaces to create a full and rich customer experience. The price of products in the center is 30 percent lower than those in domestic shopping malls because of the direct supply from German factories and lower freight costs.
Fu believes that the Ygode Experience Center of German Factory is not only a place for shopping but a way to experience German life and culture. In the future, an increasing number of German activities, such as a German Beer Festival and a German Classic Music Festival will be hosted allowing locals to experience genuine aspects of German culture.
Fu Linghua expects another 2,000 stores to open in residential communities across the southwestern region in next three to five years.
