The Ritz-Carlton Tianjin celebrated its fifth anniversary on October 18, 2018.

Over the past five years, the hotel has received nearly 400,000 guests, won 110 honorary awards and hosted various influential events with great social significance.

The hotel ranks among the top three in Tianjin in terms of overall guest reviews on popular travel websites such as Ctrip and TripAdvisor. It also ranks as one of the top Ritz-Carlton hotels in the world for service, and has held the leader position on the traveler-trusted guide "Condé Nast Traveler" for five consecutive years.

It represents the Ritz-Carlton culture and brand by setting high standards of luxury for guests.

The opening of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel marked the fast development of Tianjin's business hospitality industry. Located at the center of the city, its splendid neoclassical architecture is a perfect blend of western and Chinese styles, reflecting Tianjin's history and culture. The hotel is regarded as one of the city's landmark buildings.

From its first day in the community the Ritz Carlton has shouldered its social responsibility and helped those in need. In 2017, it raised RMB 82,770 ($11,913) for Shuai Shuai, a young boy urgently requiring face repair surgery due to burns. Shuai Shuai successfully underwent a second restoration operation this year.

In October this year a large charity run was held to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Ritz-Carlton Tianjin and to raise money for Xin Xin, a 12-year-old girl with complex congenital heart disease and congenital renal insufficiency.
