The show was co-hosted by Robert Johanson, a US citizen, and Fang Danqiong. The evening was certainly one to remember with a range of performers, both domestic and international, showcasing their talents before an appreciative audience. The diversity of performances was staggering with 60 performers from 20 different nations gracing the stage with singing, musical instrument performances, dancing, and acrobatics.

Among the performances that received the most applause were a lovely children's ballad, a rendition of classic pop anthems, a romping saxophone quintet, a captivating African group dance, and a slick street dance performance.

The evening event also took the opportunity to commend three foreigners for their meaningful contributions to the city of Wuxi. These included Daria Duncan Weber, founder and principal of Wuxi Taihu International School, Dieter Voegtli, president of Swiss-based family enterprise Buhler AG, and Peter Arthur Stanleigh, a man who has selflessly devoted himself to volunteer efforts throughout his 15 years in Wuxi.

The Mid-Autumn Festival party drew an end to the Love in Wuxi series that has showcased the city as a livable and charming place. Wuxi, known as a brilliant pearl of Taihu Lake, is home to 12,000 foreigners with around 300,000 traveling to the city every year as tourists.
