According to the news provided by the Guangzhou Railway (Group) Corporation, with the approaching of the new semester, Guangzhou was hit by the first peak wave of return student passenger flow yesterday. The number of passengers dispatched that day reached 1.16 million, among which the number of students accounted for 64 thousands. It is estimated that the second peak wave will be arrived on March 6, the first day after the Lantern Festival.

At present, return student passenger flow are mainly concentrated on the line leading to Beijing and Shanghai. Long-distance tickets of hot lines have already been sold out. Passengers who have no tickets in hand please do not queue up before ticket offices in stations, and choose other vehicles, in case journey be delayed.
