Following a proposal by the Tianjin Municipal Commission of Commerce, all local commercial enterprises including supermarkets and shopping malls, will be devoted to providing better service to visitors attending the Summer Davos Forum in the city in September.
General inspections of shops, personnel services and so forth will be conducted throughout the city. Additionally, all shopping sites are encouraged to extend their opening hours and diversify night sale channels.
Aside from keeping their shopping environment clean at all times, shopping malls in Tianjin are also expected to launch various sales promotions during the forum, in the form of folk art performances, cultural fashion shows and so on.
Last, but not the least, wide-ranging inspections of indoor safety in all shopping areas will be carried out to reduce potential safety problems, especially in the use of elevators and electricity.
