Port held a fashion and musical art performance at the coastal area of Tianjin Dongjiang Bay scenic area to celebrate the opening of the port's fourth Harbor Tourism Culture Festival on July 6.

The Tianjin Division of the 21st New Silk Road Model Look China and the 2013 Tianjin International Fashion Coast Beach Music Festival also kicked off on the same day. During the ceremony, The Voice of China, a popular singing contest in the nation, and the 2013 Tianjin International Fashion Coast Beach Music Festival signed a strategic agreement.

As a key support project for the Tianjin municipal government to revive its cultural industry, the Tianjin Port Harbor Tourism Culture Festival has been held for three sessions, creating a mature and global cultural brand themed "blue ocean".

In the next five months, the festival will host a series of activities including the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Sailing Race, a Latin art performance show, and sea fishing games to promote cultural tourism in the Tianjin Binhai New Area.

The festival is sponsored by the publicity department of the CPC Tianjin municipal committee, Tianjin tourism administration, Tianjin Binhai New Area people's government and Tianjin Port Group. It is co-hosted by the publicity department of the CPC Tianjin Binhai New Area committee; the Tianjin Binhai New Area administration of culture, radio, film and TV; and the commerce commission of Tianjin Binhai New Area.

Tianjin Port Culture and Media Co, Star Group Limited, New Silk Road Fashion and Tianjin Manster Wine Manor also participated in organizing the festival.
