Liang Jiye, male, was born in January 1963 in Jincheng, Shanxi province. Liang is a professor and doctoral supervisor, a senior contact expert of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee, a State Council Expert for Special Allowance, and now a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and vice principal of Shanxi University.
Liang also serves as director of the Key Laboratory of Computational Intelligence and Chinese Information Processing of Shanxi University, and director of the Collaborative Innovation Center of Big Data Mining and Intelligent Technology in Shanxi Province. He is a member of the Computer Science Professional Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, a member of the Chinese Computer Society, a member of the China Computer Society (CCF) Big Data Expert Committee, chairman of the Shanxi Provincial Computer Society, deputy director of the Knowledge Engineering and Distribution Intelligence Committee of the Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence, a member of the committee of the International Journal of Computer Science and Knowledge Engineering, and a member of the committees for domestic academic journals Computer Research and Development and Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence.
Liang's research focuses on big data analysis and mining, artificial intelligence, machine learning, intelligent management, and decision-making.
In recent years, Liang has completed seven projects for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, two projects for the National 863 Program, three projects for the National 973 Program, and two special funds for the doctor's workstation of the Ministry of Education.
Liang has also published more than 200 papers in international and domestic journals, including
Artificial Intelligence, IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, Science China, and the Chinese Journal of Computers.
He also published two books in Science Press, obtained eight patents, won a gold medal at the 5th China International Invention Exhibition, won two first-place prizes at the Shanxi Science and Technology Awards (Natural Sciences), and won a first-place prize in the Outstanding Achievements in Social Science Research competition in Shanxi Province.
From 2014 to 2017, Liang made the Elsevier Most Cited Chinese Researchers List four times, was included in a list of "Young and Middle-aged Innovative Talents in Shanxi Province", and was named a "Senior Innovation Team Leader of Shanxi Province Higher Education" and a "Shanxi Province Science and Technology Innovation Key Team Leader". He also won numerous other honors, such as the "May 1 Labor Medal of Shanxi Province", "The 5th Shanxi Young Scientist Award", "Model Teacher of Shanxi Province", and "Outstanding Postgraduate Supervisor of Shanxi Province".

October 2002-October 2004: Conducted postdoctoral research work at the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; made academic visits to and engaged in cooperative research at universities in the US, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Canada, Japan, and other countries and regions.
