Gao Sien, a postgraduate majoring in administrative management at the School of Political Science and Public Management of Shanxi University, won first place at a national speech contest with the slogan “Strong Youth”. The contest was held from Sept 15 to 17 at Nankai University in Tianjin.

The speech contest was sponsored by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the All-China Women's Federation, and People's Daily. It was held in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
