The president of the National University Students Sports Association for Contract Bridge, along with leaders from Xuzhou Engineering Institute, paid a visit to Shanxi University on Nov 11.

Shanxi University is the host of 2017 Bridge Competition for University Students, which requires an extensive amount of preparation, including providing accommodations for all the attendees.

As a branch of Chinese Sports Council, the National University Students Sports Association for Contract Bridge has played a proactive role in promoting activities for bridge, the game often called “the game for the wise”.

During the visit, the officials held a talk with vice president of Shanxi University, addressing detailed information about 2017’s competition.

“Bridge culture’s entrance into campus is helpful to cultivate students with comprehensive logic and innovative thoughts,” said Yin Jie, the vice president of Shanxi University, “All of the related working members will do their best to arrange the competition.”
