The five-day fair has attracted 2,281 enterprises, with more than 5,500 products on display. The organizers, China's Ministry of Agriculture and the Shanxi government, arranged it under a theme of "Specialty, creativity, cooperation, and mutual benefit", with the idea of providing an investment and trade site for the province’s farm produce and to improve its competitiveness by improving its reputation.
