Scholars share ideas at 2012 Taihao Tourism Forum

On Feb 26, 2012, the Taihao Tourism Forum, themed "Leapfrog development of Jiangxi tourism", was held in Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi province. Wang Xiaofeng, director of the Jiangxi Tourism Administration and scholars brainstormed ideas for the development of Jiangxi tourism.
Wei Xiaoan, director of the academic committee for the China Tourism Academy, Liu Feng, director of the east public management academy of the Development Research Center of the State Council, and other scholars discussed ways to promote Jiangxi's red and ecological tourism.
The scholars also delivered speeches on innovative development plans to achieve transformation while upgrading tourism.
During the forum, experts paid a visit to the Wanli district of Nanchang city. They put forward suggestions on the expansion of the local tourism industry and the establishment of a tourism brand.
