The 13th annual Inner Mongolia University of Technology foreign language festival opened on the campus on May 23, drawing in more than 500 of its own teaching staff and students and others from the Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economic to partake in the opening ceremony.

This year's festival was co-organized by the two universities. Like the festivals of other years, it provides chances for students to showcase their language talents and share skills.

It will feature language competitions and festivities in foreign singing, English speaking and interpretation, German speaking, foreign vocabulary, movie dubbing, foreign language motto creating and other areas, helping bolster students' interest in learning foreign languages outside the classroom.
