Inner Mongolia autonomous region in North China has an earlier and longer winter than the rest of China. The winter may last as long as seven months in the Hulunbuir and the Greater Hinggan Mountains. Snow-coated Inner Mongolia becomes a “museum” of snowy sceneries and leisure activities, from sightseeing to folk experiences. Hulunbuir, Manzhouli, Hinggan League, Chifeng, Xilingol and Hohhot are among the places with fantastic snow and ice scenery and relaxing activities.
