Guiyang city and Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province recently launched a three-year plan to boost block chain technology and innovative industrial development in the area.
According to the plan, by 2022, Guiyang and Guian will release 30 industry block chain application solutions, and introduce or cultivate 50 key block chain companies.
The plan requires Guiyang and Guian to build the nation's first municipal-level independent sovereign block chain platform, which will provide easy to use, safe, scalable and visualized block chain infrastructure services to improve the rapid deployment ability of block chain applications, and meet the high security and reliability requirements of block chain services and applications.
By introducing advanced block chain companies, constructing block chain industrial centers, supporting local companies and gathering block chain platforms, Guiyang and Guian will promote the creation of a block chain industrial ecosystem.
Meanwhile, Guiyang and Guian will integrate block chain with cloud computing, artificial intelligence, big data and the internet of things, carry out research and development in basic theories, and attract more talents in the block chain field.
Guiyang and Guian will also promote the application of block chain in government affairs, education, employment, medical services, environmental protection, transport, finance, supply chain, the industrial internet, digital assets and security, as well as perfect the block chain standard system and build a block chain evaluation system.
