China Eastern to refit 200 more aircraft cabins

China Eastern Airlines finished refitting the passenger cabin of an Airbus A321 on March 17, the first one renovated according to the company's new standardization.
China Eastern has launched its new standardized aircraft modification scheme to tackle the aging of its aircrafts' interior appointments, as the service lives of airplanes have grown in recent years.

According to the new scheme, more than 60 facilities in the passenger cabins including the toilets, baggage racks, seats and carpets will be updated beginning in 2016.
The new textures and colors in the cabins are aimed at providing more comfortable flying experiences for the passengers.
