Get to Gansu by train

Lanzhou: Lanzhou Railway Station is located in the south downtown. There are altogether 45 daily rail departures from Lanzhou, connecting Lanzhou to other cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing,Qingdao, Jinan, Shijiazhuang, Zhengzhou, Guangzhou, Changsha, Wuhan, Chengdu, Xian, Xining, Urumqi and Hohhot. Express trains also run to Xining, Yumen, Zhangye, Pingliang and Golmud.

There are many ticket offices in the city but we recommend you buy your tickets from the ticket center at the railway station or from the ticket offices in the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China to avoid forged tickets. Lanzhou Railway Station Inquiry: 0931-4922222

Wuwei: It is easy to take train traveling from Wuwei to other cites in China. Wuwei Railway Station is located at Chengguan town. It offers daily trains running to Lanzhou, Korla, Beijing, Jiayuguan, Urumqi, Dunhuang, Xi'an, Zhengzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, Shangqiu, Lianyungang, etc.

Zhangye: By far the most convenient way to get into and out of Zhangye is still by train. Zhangye Railway Station, located about 6km away to the downtown area, is a major stop along the Lanzhou-Urumqi Railway Line. It has trains which run daily to and from Shanghai, Xi'an and Lanzhou.

Dingxi: Lanzhou. Longhai (Lanzhou-Lianyungang) Railway and the secondary line of Baoji-Lanzhou Railway pass through Dingxi. It makes the city definitely the east gate to the capital city of Gansu. Dingxi Railway Station and the bus station are not far away from each other, both located in Jiaotong Lu of Anding district.

Longnan: Longnan is an important passage between Gansu and Sichuan, and the city's railway station is also a vital passenger and freight transportation hub. The railway station is in Jialing town of Huixian county on the right bank of the Jialing River.
