Schedule of events

 

During the Expo, an array of diversified activities will take place in China Pavilion. To echo with the "Belt and Road" initiative, the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Kazakhstan and the Year of Chinese Tourism, a series of large events will be held to promote the all-round exchanges and cooperation between the two sides, including an opening ceremony at the pavilion, China Pavilion Day, a China-Kazakhstan Energy Cooperation Forum and a China-Kazakhstan Entrepreneurs Committee's Energy Conference, a China-Kazakhstan Tourism Cooperation Forum, and a Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses Exhibition.

China's participation in the Expos is always characterized with the presence of many Chinese provinces, municipalities and companies. At the Astana EXPO-2017, the a total of 23 provinces and municipalities including Beijing, Shanghai, Shandong as well as dozens of large energy firms will take part in the exhibitions and other relevant activities. At the same time, China Pavilion will also promote cultural exchanges via art performances and exhibitions of intangible cultural heritage and cultural relics.
