The 17th China Green Food Expo was held in Changchun modern agricultural park from Sept 2 to 5, the first time that it has been held in Jilin province.

The pavilion, covering 18,400 square meters, was divided into three exhibition halls containing 778 booths. All the products exhibited in the expo were required to have green food labeling.

"Jilin pavilion had 284 exhibition booths, including 16 booths for eco-food, 10 for detection instrumentsfor agricultural products and 19 for quality products from the Greater Khingan Mountains," said Qiu Yulin, director of the Jilin green food office.

The other 494 booths of the exhibition halls were from different regions across the country. In the No.2 exhibition hall, an exhibitor from Yichang, Hubei province presented oranges, teas and more than 300 varieties of green foods.

The China Green Food Expo was founded in 1990, and has been held each year in Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Kunming and other big and medium-size cities. It is the largest and most professional expo for agricultural products and processed food in China.
