Among historical buildings, restaurants, museums and cafes, you can now see many small ICH art shops with products from all over China.

The project started in 2015 when the Beijing government announced the construction of the "National Intangible Cultural Heritage Exposition District". Yongxin Huayun was the project's central developer.

"ICH is a reflection of our nation's artistic creation and plays an important role in cultural inheritance, said Li Yongjun, board chairman of Yongxin Huayun, at the exhibition's opening. "To develop ICH as a cultural industry and help small businesses to grow is what we are experimenting with. Publicizing folk art isn't enough; we need to give them lives through the public's involvement."

The exhibition will last until Jan 20.
