A man in Huanghua city, Hebei province, has saved the lives of more than 20 people over the past six decades.
Liu Fuxing, a 68-year-old retiree from the city's procuratorate, was born into a poor family and stopped going to school after finishing his second year at junior middle school.
The first life Liu saved was that of a blind beggar, whom he rescued from a pit when he was 6.
Since then he has saved more than 20 people, including a pregnant woman, children and old people, protecting them from a variety of dangerous situations.
