Land Rover's driving motivation - "Never stop achieving" - rings true in China as the company channels a great deal of resources into being responsive to Chinese customers.

Fuel efficiency is a top priority for China as it moves to reduce fuel consumption, CO2 and other emissions to make a cleaner environment.

To meet these demands, Land Rover will introduce its hybrid models - the Range Rover Hybrid and Range Rover Sport Hybrid - at the coming Beijing Auto Show. They are the world's first premium diesel hybrid SUVs that couple diesel engines with the flexibility of electric drive.

In addition, the lightweight all-aluminum monocoque body structure lowers the weight of the vehicle, further reducing fuel consumption.

The Range Rover Hybrid on display at the Beijing Auto Show is a long-wheelbase version. Continuously raising levels of comfort for rear-seat passengers, the model includes localized infotainment and navigation systems, and with characteristic attention to detail, the final touches are color schemes tailored to China tastes.

Jaguar Land Rover China as a whole has witnessed impressive growth with record-breaking sales of more than 100,000 units in the company's 2013 financial year, up 34 percent from a year earlier.

Land Rover models took the lion's share of the total sales, delivering nearly 83,200 units.

That pace was also evident in the first quarter of 2014 with more than 23,400 Land Rover vehicles delivered to new customers, 33 percent higher than the same period last year.
