Although China's luxury industry is feeling the impact of the country's economic slowdown, there is still a huge market for cleaning and caring for leather goods. Normally, sellers are not responsible for cleaning, while some ordinary laundries don't have necessary technology and equipment to tend to leather. In Chengdu, capital of Southwest China's Sichuan province, employees at Ruo Ji, a store engaged in leather care since 1977, has cleaned and repaired thousands of luxury leather bags.
