Meet to boost global influence of China's nutrition science
On Sunday, the Chinese Nutrition Society and IMR Press held the International Journal for Vitamin and Nutrition Research strategic cooperation and discipline development symposium in Beijing.
This collaboration aims to enhance the global influence of China's nutrition science by utilizing IMR Press' professional platform to connect members with international exchanges. The initiative will further strengthen China's voice in global nutrition discussions, promote wider international cooperation, and accelerate the Chinese Nutrition Society's internationalization efforts.
Professor Yang Yuexin, chairman of the Chinese Nutrition Society, president of the Federation of Asian Nutrition Societies, and researcher of the National Institute for Nutrition and Health at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, highlighted the importance of this partnership.
She emphasized that the collaboration not only reflects the central government's efforts to foster world-class academic platforms but also underscores the commitment to pass on Chinese expertise to global nutrition science.
"Through long-term cooperation, both sides will share resources and complement each other's strengths, working together toward a bright future of mutual success," Yang said.
Yang, along with Zhu Difeng, president of IMR Press, signed the strategic cooperation agreement and awarded the editorial certificate.
Experts in the field of nutrition and IMR Press staff also engaged in discussions on the future development of nutrition science, international cooperation, and strategies for advancing the International Journal for Vitamin and Nutrition Research.
