Participants can collect race packages on Jan 2-3 at the Sheraton Changchun Jingyuetan Hotel. Each kit includes a race bib, timing chips, a clothing bag, and various guides and maps. A standout feature is the uniquely designed medal: a snowflake centerpiece that rotates and symbolizes the festival's 23rd edition.
Originating in Sweden in 1922, the Vasaloppet is the world's oldest and largest cross-country ski race. Since 2003, the Changchun edition has merged Swedish tradition with Chinese winter culture, creating a vibrant celebration of sports, tourism, and cultural exchange. Today, it stands as a key event showcasing Changchun's global appeal and vibrant winter scene.
