American youth engage in cultural exchange in Hebei
Last week, a group of students and teachers from the United States traveled to Hengshui, North China's Hebei province, to experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture and enhance friendship between Chinese and American youth.
The group was composed of 25 students and three teachers from six schools.
During their trip from Friday to Saturday, the group visited Hengshui High School - famous nationwide for its ability to nurture students with excellent academic performance - to experience the educational environment and interact with their peers.
"We communicated with our Chinese peers without reservation, deepening our mutual understanding. I have made new friends with them," Taylor Renee Jordan Prescott was quoted as saying by local media. She said she would revisit China to experience Chinese culture with her new friends.
