How to welcome New Year in Nantong

Only a couple of days left until 2025. It's time for a special New Year's Eve journey to bid farewell to 2024. Come to Nantong for a brilliant celebration!
Firework show
Qidong Qitang Immersive City offers free entry from 6 pm on Dec 31 to 6 am Jan 1. On New Year's Eve, the attraction will treat its tourists to intangible cultural heritage performances, a traditional Chinese market, tea ceremonies, and various other activities. Multiple drones will soar into the sky above the music square, creating various formations and offering a diverse array of performances.
At midnight, everyone will count down together and welcome the New Year. Under the New Year's fireworks on New Year's Day, a new season begins. After the fireworks, classic movies will be screened at Haitang Building and Penglai Tea House to welcome 2025 together.
New Year's Bonfire party
The Nantong Wushan Camping Site will host the first New Year's bonfire and music party at 6 pm on Dec 31 to bid farewell to the old year and welcome a hopeful new year.
The camping site is an ideal place for self-service barbecue on New Year's Eve, enjoying barbecue delicacies while admiring the beautiful natural scenery.
Visitors can gather in the multifunctional venue in the southern area of the campsite to write New Year's couplets, welcoming the first light of the new year with hope. In the southern area lawn, they can enjoy the New Year bonfire, a firework show, and cocktail performances, as well as share stories of the past year.
People in Nantong can also welcome the New Year by visiting the Nantong Art Museum for exhibitions and the Nantong Grand Theatre for performances.
