Exhibition steps back into Song style
In a Straw Cloak Spend My Life in Mist and Rain — Su Shi, a digital art exhibition, opened on Tuesday at the World Art Museum of the China Millennium Monument in Beijing. It presents a fresh perspective on the wisdom and enduring value of traditional Chinese culture.
The exhibition centers on Su Shi, a towering cultural figure from the Song Dynasty (960-1279) and the exhibition space draws inspiration from the aesthetics of that era, incorporating elements of painting, poetry, gardens, and nature into its design. By blending new media art with interactive installations, it brings to life the elegance of the Song Dynasty, and Su's cheerful, open-minded spirit. The immersive experience, where poetry and reality converge, takes visitors on a journey through Song artistry.
The exhibition runs until April 13.
