Charging facilities of State Grid Wenzhou Power Supply Company optimized ahead of National Day holiday
As the National Day holiday approaches, the scenic spots in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, will welcome a large number of self-driven tourists, resulting in a surge in the demand of charging facilities for new energy vehicles. To alleviate the charging demand, the State Grid Wenzhou Power Supply Company has optimized the layout of its charging facilities in the northern mountainous areas to create a five-kilometer charging circle around the Nanxi River Scenic Area.
Company staff members conducted inspections at the Daruoyan energy storage and charging station by the Nanxi River as well as the operation of charging piles, charging guns, emergency stops and module components.
Yongjia county in Wenzhou has 106 types of electric vehicle charging stations with a total of 889 charging piles. The area is the center of the five-km charging circle with energy generation, storage and charging functions integrated in one place. By installing rooftop photovoltaics, automatic charging and energy storage are achieved, which effectively facilitates the operation of the charging stations.
To further bolster green travel during the holidays, the company is employing a comprehensive inspection method combining online monitoring, drone surveys and in-person manual inspections to ensure the healthy operation of the line equipment. For users such as home stay operators at the scenic spots within their jurisdiction, they will implement various measures to support the holiday tourism by providing on-site services and professional safety inspections on equipment.
