According to local authorities, the park is now home to 424 pieces of vascular plants and 180 species of wild animals.

Adjacent to the wetland park is an ecological farm in Sanzhou village, a modern leisure agriculture demonstration park that combines sightseeing and fruit-picking.

The village was one of the areas most affected by soil erosion in Changting. The ecological farm places a strong emphasis on maintaining ecological benefits during its development.

"While others remove grass, we plant it," said Shen Shuchao, manager of the farm. He explained that when the grass dies, it becomes organic fertilizer for the fruit trees.
