Baarin stones, along with Shoushan stones from Fujian province, Qingtian stones and Changhua stones from Zhejiang province, are celebrated as one of China's "Four Famous Stones."

In 2001, at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit in Shanghai, 21 Baarin stone seals were presented as national gifts to the leaders of the participating countries.

Over the past decade, Baarin stones have gained international acclaim, with its exquisite carvings exported to over 30 countries and regions worldwide.
