The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China is convening at a time when the world is facing significant changes. Former Guyanese president Donald Ramotar recently shared with China Daily his views on the event.

Ramotar expected the important meeting to further boost China's economic growth. He praised China's achievements in enhancing the living conditions of its people and emphasized that engaging in broad discussions and consultations are essential steps in formulating effective policies for the benefit of the population.
