Puyuan transforms into a Southern Song Dynasty haven

The best-selling book Tiaozhan Guren Yibaitian (translated as "Living the Life of Ancients for 100 Days") by the author Yunjia vividly portrays various facets of life during the Southern Song period (960-1279), encompassing dietary customs, social dynamics and celebratory traditions.
Recently, Puyuan, a water town boasting antique structures located in Tongxiang city, Zhejiang province in East China, has become the real-world stage for this literary work to be brought to life. From June 28 to Aug 31, the ancient lifestyle depicted in the book will be meticulously recreated within the picturesque setting of Puyuan.
