IMF managing director sends Lunar New Year wishes

As Spring Festival is around the corner, International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva has expressed good wishes in an IMF video message to everyone from China and many other Asian countries who celebrate the Lunar New Year.
Spring Festival, which falls on Feb 1, marks the beginning of the Year of the Tiger. She said the third animal of the Chinese zodiac, the tiger symbolizes: strength, vitality, intelligence, fearlessness – all the qualities we need as the world enters the third year of the pandemic.
