Top 10 Chinese companies in line with UN goals
China's dairy giant Yili Group tops the list of 100 mainland-based companies that are in line with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals, according to China Private Companies SDG Readiness 100 index released by Hurun Research Institute on Jan 10.
The index studied 100 companies listed in the Hurun China 500 Most Valuable Private Companies 2020, and the ranking is based on their environmental, social and governance reports, corporate social responsibility reports, and sustainable development goals reports.
Among the 100 companies, 31 are located in the Yangtze River Delta region, 25 in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, 17 in Beijing, 14 in Shenzhen, and 11 in Shanghai.
