The 2021 Farmers' Harvest Festival in Yanqing district was held in Beijing's horticulture expo park on Wednesday. Farmers across the district brought various kinds of special agricultural products to celebrate this year's forthcoming bumper grain harvest.

The festivities were accompanied by local special products, such as the organic milk from the north vegetable farm and Yanyushan peppermint oil.

It is expected that during the National Day holiday, Yanqing district will launch six boutique travel routes to make citizens enjoy the autumn scenery of the northeastern district of Beijing from Sept 30 to Oct 7.

An art performance was also staged on the evening of Wednesday, Sept 22, in Yanqing to mark the fourth Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival on Thursday.
