Readers
Founded in 1981, Readers is a well-known magazine with a wide social influence and stellar reputation in China. Since its launch, Readers has published more than 2 billion copies. As per the latest estimates, the Readers brand is valued at 30.22 billion yuan.
The magazine has remained committed to its core value since its inaugural issue while keeping pace with the times and carrying out cultural inheritance and innovation. It promotes "truth, goodness and beauty", strong cultural practices and humanism, and has influenced generations of Chinese people and won the recognition and love from readers.
Apart from reader satisfaction and market recognition, Readers has also won many honors. From 1998 to 2001, it won the first and second China's Hundred Key Journals in Social Science Awards presented by the General Administration of Press and Publication of China.
In 1999, it won the first "National Journal Award". In 2001, it was recognized as a "Two High's" (high reputation and high academic level) journal by the General Administration of Press and Publication of China. From 2003 to 2005, Readers won two "National Journal Awards" consecutively. In 2010, it won the second Chinese Government Award for Publishing for Journals (first established). In January 2018, it won the fourth Chinese Government Award for Publishing for Journals.
