September Malaysian food festival set for China World Hotel
Malaysian cuisine will be in the spotlight this month with a Malaysian food and culture festival at China World Hotel’s Scene a Cafe in Beijing.
The event, from Friday to Sept 16, is in collaboration with the Embassy of Malaysia in Beijing and AirAsia. Stephen Teo, area Executive Chef of China World Hotel and two Nyonya cuisine chefs from Malaysia will present authentic Malaysian cuisine to Beijing food lovers.
Throughout the 11-day festival, the hotel will specially prepare a sumptuous spread of gourmet dishes that reflect the diversity and evolution of taste across Malaysia.
The must-order dishes range from starters, main dishes to dessert. Some celebratory specials include Sup Ekor Soup, Ayam Pongteh, Rendang Daging, Cucur Udang, Sambal Sotong, Durian Cake, Teh Tarik and the Signature Pandan Leaf Wrap Nasi Lemak.
