China expresses dissatisfaction to India after drone crash
China on Thursday expressed dissatisfaction to India over the recent crash of an Indian drone in Chinese territory.
"China has lodged representations to India, asking the country to immediately stop flying unmanned air vehicles near the border and to work together with China to maintain the border area's peace and tranquility," Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang told a daily press conference in Beijing.
The Sikkim section of the China-India border, where the drone crashed, has already been demarcated, Geng said, and India's action violated Chinese sovereignty and harmed the peace and stability of border areas between the two countries.
He also said that Chinese border troops had identified and verified the unmanned aerial vehicle in a professional and responsible manner.
