China's new-generation bullet train, the Fuxing (Chinese for rejuvenation), will travel at 350 kilometers per hours, making it the world's fastest bullet train, from Sept 21.
The train will make seven round trips between Beijing and Shanghai, cutting the travel time between the two cities from 5.5 hours to 4.5.
Launched in June, Fuxing is the country's third-generation bullet train over which it has the complete intellectual property rights.
