Safety-themed buses take to Guangzhou streets
Safety-themed buses painted with creative doodles rolled out across the streets of Guangzhou on May 30 promoting safety education to the public.
More than 160 parents and children from 75 families took part in the activity, creating pictures portraying the works of firefighters, special policemen and marine police.
The parents and children visited a police work area to find out more about what they do in a day on the job.
"Those marine policemen look very cool when they dive in to save people," said Zhang Yuhan, a volunteer. "I have drawn the story and want everyone to know about it."

The newly decorated buses are currently running on lines 24, 31, 901A and Tourism 1.
A departure ceremony for the vehicles was held at Huacheng Square, and organized by the Guangzhou municipal public security bureau, communications commission of Guangzhou and Guangzhou Municipal Committee of Communist Youth League of China.
The activity was aimed at helping children and even the whole society gain a better understanding of our work, and then support us, said an official of the Guangzhou municipal public security bureau.
